Issue Position

Increases in our utility bills and in gasoline hurt all of us as residents and consumers. They also hurt businesses, especially small businesses, and cost our economy jobs because businesses have to pay those costs. We must have a sensible energy policy that protects our precious Colorado environment while balancing the need for affordable electricity and fuel for Colorado families. Arbitrary standards should be replaced with realistic goals that keep our costs low and create jobs.
